Mint
Mint is a natural herb that can be easily cultivated due to its ability to grow through its roots, where new leaves sprout immediately. To grow mint, all you need are small mint seedlings or seeds and a planting pot ranging in size from 30-40 cm.
Growing Mint
When growing mint, it is preferable to choose the right location to ensure successful cultivation. This can be achieved by selecting a site that receives adequate sunlight for the mint to grow. Additionally, the soil must be fertile. Mint can also be grown in a small planting pot filled with soil enriched with compost fertilizer to support its growth.
Planting Instructions
Mint can be planted by following these steps:
- Bring a small amount of mint plants from the market.
- Place the mint plant in the soil at a depth of 5 cm. It is preferable to choose a location that receives sunlight. It can also be planted near other cultivated plants.
- Plant it in moist soil by adding fertilizer to the soil.
- Ensure the removal of weeds from the area designated for planting.
- Space the mint plants 2-5 centimeters apart.
- Harvest the mint leaves when they grow. It is preferable to pick the small, soft leaves with a pleasant aroma.
Note: Mint leaves are planted after the frost season ends. If growing mint seeds, it is preferable to plant them in shaded, small containers away from light for 8 weeks before transferring them outdoors to receive sunlight.
